ADULT SKI COURSES IN SIERRA NEVADA
From your first day on skis to refining your technique. We help you choose an adult lesson or course to suit your ability, goals and available time.
For a session tailored entirely to you, explore our private ski and snowboard lessons and meet our instructor team.
Please note: beginner courses start only on Saturdays or Mondays, as the group progresses together from day one.
Learn safely and progress with a plan
You do not need previous experience or to know the exact name of your ability level. We start with what you can already do and build a clear, safe learning plan suited to you.
If you have never skied, we will cover equipment, balance, basic stance, speed control and stopping. If you already ski easy runs, we will work on turns, posture and the transition to parallel skiing.
Telemark sessions can also be arranged on request, depending on availability, ability and conditions.
Start with confidence
First steps · level A
For complete beginners: equipment, balance, basic stance and your first experiences on snow.
Snowplough and control · level B
You will learn to stop, control your speed and link snowplough turns on green runs.
Towards parallel skiing · levels C and D
We will work on reducing the snowplough, basic parallel skiing and control on blue runs and your first red runs.
Advanced technique · level E
Personalised sessions on edge control, carving, short turns, line choice or advanced technique, depending on conditions.
Build on your skills
If you can control your speed and ski easy runs, we will work on turns, posture, edge control and the transition to parallel skiing.
For skiers with a solid foundation, sessions can focus on carving, short turns, line choice or an introduction to off-piste skiing, always according to ability, snow and safety conditions.
