FAMILY SKI LESSONS IN SIERRA NEVADA
Private ski lessons for families with children aged 8 and over who want to enjoy the mountain together. We organise the session around your experience and goals. For children aged 4 and 5, we also offer Ski Baby.
If your children do not fit this format because of their age or ability, explore our children’s ski courses and information about the Sierra Nevada Alpine Garden.
Enjoy the snow together
In a family lesson, the instructor adapts teaching to the group’s actual ability, pays particular attention to safety and supports younger skiers’ progress while also helping the adults.
Family skiing is designed for participants aged 8 and over. We organise the session around your previous experience and goals. If ability levels differ significantly, we will recommend the most useful arrangement so nobody is left behind or misses out.
Ski Baby is our dedicated service for children aged 4 and 5. For other ages, contact us and we will recommend a suitable option.
Why choose a family lesson?
Tuition adapted to your family
The instructor plans the lesson around each participant’s ability and pace, with exercises that help you progress together.
Safety and care for children
Safety comes first. We pay particular attention to children’s progress and adapt the session to the lowest ability level in the group.
Flexible times
We look for a time that suits your stay and our instructors’ availability.
A shared experience
Learn together, build confidence and enjoy the snow as a family with private tuition.

Are any children under 8 years old?
Family lessons are designed for children aged 8 and over and adults who want to learn or improve together.
For children under 8, we recommend booking a private lesson with a separate instructor, at the same time and in the same area of the slopes as the parents’ lesson. This gives each student tuition suited to their age and ability while enjoying the snow close to their family.
In a shared lesson, the instructor must adapt the pace and exercises to the least experienced participant. Where there is a significant difference in age or ability, separate lessons help both children and adults make better use of their time.
